Getting people into Trails is so awkward. You can talk all you want about the fun characters, the great writing, and the moving stories but you always have to warn upfront about the Adoptive Sibling Romance, the Not Very Terrific Lesbians, etc. and it feels like you're shilling for the worst anime shit imaginable.

the one nice thing about trails being relatively obscure in the west is that i had almost none of the many plot twists spoiled to me through osmosis, and so i got to go through the entire series mostly blind.
the only issue is that i want to preserve that experience for anyone else interested, so whenever i talk about it on discord with other trails fans any serious discussion of the plot turns into a CIA document
